How to plan a guided tour at the Fondation Martin Bodmer
To plan your guided tour, you have two options:
– Join a guided tour of our exhibitions
You can join a guided tour on your own or with others.
French guided tours are free with the purchase of an admission ticket (except during our Cultural Evenings, held on the first Wednesday of each month, when museum admission is also free).
A maximum group size of 20 people is recommended.

– Book a private guided tour
Private guided tours can cover the permanent exhibition and/or temporary exhibitions. They are available for individuals or groups (friends, professionals, school classes, etc.) and can be arranged for a day of your choice.

A maximum group size of 20 people is recommended.
Please note: Guided tours in English are available for large groups only.
Rates
If you would like to arrange a guided tour outside the museum’s opening hours, an additional fee of CHF 500 applies.
Guided tours by reservation:
- CHF 200 on weekdays (+ CHF 10 per person)
- CHF 250 on weekends and on weekdays after 6 pm (+ CHF 10 per person)
Guided tours for schools:
- Free for public schools in the Canton of Geneva
- CHF 200 for private schools and public schools outside the Canton of Geneva
